Wolves have made their stance clear on manager Vitor Pereira following a woeful beginning to the new campaign.
Newcastle defeated Wolves thanks to a Nick Woltemade header to consign Pereira’s team to a fourth straight league defeat.
Wolves knocked West Ham out of the Carabao Cup in their only success this season, though they needed two late Jorgen Strand Larsen goals to progress.
The injured Strand Larsen has missed the past two games, following heavy transfer interest from Newcastle over the summer.

Even though Wolves were able to keep hold of Strand Larsen, with a new contract now set to be offered to the 25-year-old, the summer was considered a tough one for the club.
Pereira was able to keep Wolves above the relegation zone last season following his appointment last December.
As per talkSPORT [16 September] the club want to tie Pereiera down to a new contract, with his current deal at Molineux set to expire next summer.

It is thought “negotiations are expected to be relatively straightforward.”
The club also made an acknowledgement around their expectations for this season following their summer transfer business.
“Pereira has plenty of credit in the bank with the club’s hierarchy,” talkSPORT reported.
“There is also an acknowledgement that this was destined to be a tough campaign after selling star duo Matheus Cunha and Rayan Ait-Nouri and losing Nelson Semedo on a free transfer.”
Cunha scored 15 Premier League goals last season, whilst Ait-Nouri and Semedo were two key players in the full-back positions.
Whilst Pereira may have credit in the bank from his achievements last season in turning around a side destined for a relegation battle, the Portuguese manager must ensure Wolves start getting points on the board.
A home clash with Man City and subsequent trips to Bournemouth and Newcastle was always going to prove a tough start, but Wolves now face the three promoted club’s in their next five fixtures.

Leeds and Burnley at Molineux are crucial matches to start building some momentum and confidence within the squad.
Pereira will be hoping Strand Larsen returns for the visit of Leeds, as Wolves lacked much goal threat in defeat at Newcastle.
