Over the last few weeks, Liverpool have dominated the transfer headlines with the amount of business they’ve been doing.
The Anfield outfit have just confirmed the transfer of Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen for a club record fee of £116million, which outlines how seriously they’re taking the 2025-26 campaign.
However, with all the spending they’ve been doing over the last couple of weeks, some sales will need to be sanctioned in order for the Reds to recoup some of their money.
Jarell Quansah looks to be on his way out of Anfield after Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen came to an agreement worth around £35million.
Speaking live on talkSPORT, Troy Deeney gave his thoughts on Guehi’s potential move to Liverpool and why he thinks it would be a smart move.
“I can [see Guehi as a Liverpool player], I think palace are going to lose one of them aren’t they, Guehi or Eze, whoever they decide to let go,” he said.

“I would have expected them to try and go big and keep him but maybe they cash in, I think he works great next to Virgil van Dijk, that’s a long-term succession plan for Liverpool.
“Liverpool are not messing about and I do think Liverpool have laid it down to everybody.”
Since Guehi only has a year left on his deal at Selhurst Park, Crystal Palace are only asking for around £45million to acquire his services.
