And, while Alexander Isak has no doubt been important to Newcastle this season, the fact that Wright believes Isak should be given the title of the Premier League’s best attacker is mind-boggling.
This opinion isn’t shared by Neville, who was taken aback after Wright’s suggestion when going through their Premier League players of the season on the Stick to Football Podcast.
Of course, both have had incredible seasons, and neither should be knocked down, but the fact that Salah is on the brink of breaking multiple Premier League records should be enough for him to earn the status of the Premier League’s best attacker.
