'Wow:' Journalist left in awe of Portugal's fans after what they did to remember Diogo Jota on Tuesday

Diogo Jota’s passing was one of the toughest moments any Liverpool fan will likely have to go through.

Although his passing was a few months ago now, Liverpool and Portugal are both keeping his name alive with his country’s fanbase doing something spectacular in his memory during their 3-2 win versus Hungary on Tuesday.





As has been the case for most of the season thus far, something has happened in the 20th minute of the game to celebrate Jota’s life.



This is likely to occur over the course of the season, with Liverpool and Portugal both wanting to carry on his legacy.



And, as per a report from Athletic journalist Gregg Evans, Portugal’s fans didn’t disappoint as they all stood up for a minute of applause in Jota’s name.
