Championship side Wrexham are looking to do some shopping at Liverpool before the summer window closes according to reports.

There have been a number of Liverpool players whose futures have now been cleared up before the season starts proper.

Liverpool have already sent five prospects out on loan as they balance squad depth with player development.

Goalkeeper Vít?zslav Jaroš (23) heads to Ajax for the season, aiming to build on previous loan spells in Ireland and Austria.

Harvey Davies (21) joined Crawley Town in League Two, seeking regular first-team action after impressing on loan at Crewe.

Defender Owen Beck (20) moved to Derby County in the Championship, while fellow defender Isaac Mabaya (19) linked up with Wigan Athletic to gain senior experience.

Midfielder Luca Stephenson (21) returns to Dundee United after a breakout campaign in Scotland, having signed a new Liverpool contract before his latest loan spell.

However, there are still some futures to be ironed out.

It remains to be seen where Stefan Bajcetic moves before the window closes, as there does not seem to be an opening in the squad.

Another player in Lewis Koumas, who featured in pre-season, is also expected to embark on another loan.

TeamTalk has reported that Wrexham are continuing to explore a season-long loan Koumas.

The son of former Wales international Jason Koumas, Lewis put pen to paper on a long-term deal at Anfield last August before spending the 2024/25 campaign with Stoke City, where he made 49 appearances and scored six goals in the Championship.

According to the report, Wrexham have been in discussions since early August and believe they can secure Koumas despite competition from Norwich City and Sheffield United.

Manager Phil Parkinson sees Koumas fitting seamlessly into the Wrexham squad, not only for his flair in attack but also for his Welsh heritage, which would further strengthen the club’s burgeoning Welsh connection following signings like Nathan Broadhead and Danny Ward.
