Wrexham has announced that it has completed the signing of one former Liverpool star.

The Welsh club have announced the capture of the former defender as they prepare to fight for promotion to the Premier League this season.

Several sides have taken the opportunity of the summer transfer window to strengthen, with Liverpool one of the busiest sides in this window.

The Reds have signed and sold several players this summer, and more business is still expected.

Hugo Ekitike was the latest addition to the current first team, while the club is also currently working on a deal to sign Alexander Isak.

DaveOCKOP.com exclusively reported on Friday that the Reds are ready to make a new bid for the Swedish striker that could total £140 million.

Elsewhere, the likes of Tyler Morton and Darwin Nunez are still expected to leave the club this summer.

Morton is attracting interest from Lyon, who are close to sealing a £15 million deal for him.

Al-Hilal are also said to have opened talks with Liverpool over the signing of Darwin Nunez.

Amid the intense transfer business currently ongoing around Liverpool, one former Reds star has secured a move to Championship side Wrexham.

The Welsh club has confirmed the signing of former Liverpool defender Conor Coady.

“Wrexham AFC are delighted to announce the signing of Conor Coady for an undisclosed fee, from Leicester City, pending international clearance and registrations,” a statement on the club’s official website said.

“Coady, 32, arrives at the ST?K Cae Ras on a two-year deal until the end of the 2026/27 season with the option of an additional year.”

Speaking to Wrexham’s official media, he said: “I’m over the moon?

It’s a special day, I’ll be honest.

“We’ve all seen what the Club has done over the past few years, and for me to join is really special, and I can’t wait to meet the boys and get started.”
