Manchester City midfielder Jack Grealish would "walk" into the Liverpool side.
Already they have signed Jeremie Frimpong, while talks continue over the potential signings of Florian Wirtz and Milos Kerkez.
Speaking to Metro, Given suggested that Liverpool should give some consideration to Grealish, as well as every other team in the Premier League.
"I think Jack has been a generational talent, I really do," said the former goalkeeper, who played alongside Grealish at Aston Villa.

"I think Jack can play for every single team in the country.
Having not played recently, he will be really hungry to go out there and show how good he is.
"I wouldn't want to name clubs but at the same time I think he walks into any team in the country, that even includes Liverpool or Chelsea or anyone.
City have strengthened their options in the attacking midfield positions too, with Omar Marmoush arriving in January; Tijjani Reijnders and Rayan Cherki are expected to come in this summer.
Grealish is reported to be on £300,000-a-week at City and those wages could prove to be a stumbling block for any potential suitors.
Given thinks he could work his way back into contention in Manchester eventually, with a temporary move potentially suiting the player and the club.

"Reading between the lines, the writing is on the wall," Given said.
"I'm not sure what the situation is but it doesn't look like he is going to travel with the squad.
"We have to see what happens, maybe it is time to try and find a new opportunity elsewhere.
Maybe on a loan deal somewhere, go do well and maybe come back to City.
