Trent Alexander-Arnold will not be a Liverpool player beyond this summer, after he announced that he will be leaving when his contract expires at the end of next month.
For the best part of 12 months, there has been speculation on whether or not Alexander-Arnold will put pen-to-paper on fresh terms to extend his stay at Anfield.
Now, though, it has been confirmed the Liverpool vice-captain will leave as a free agent this summer and likely paving the way to complete a move to Real Madrid in the process.
The question now for Liverpool will be, how do they replace Trent Alexander-Arnold?
Whether that's as a regular starter, or somebody to compete with Bradley for the starting spot at right-back.
One man who has been linked with Liverpool in the past is Jeremie Frimpong.
The ex-Liverpool midfielder is being heavily tipped to with replace Carlo Ancelotti as Real Madrid's next manager.
This could set up a Liverpool reunion, of sorts, with Alexander-Arnold seemingly expected to sign for the La Liga giants on a free transfer.
"There were scouts there like Liverpool, Bolton, Man City and more.
"But I chose Liverpool first

Now, 15 years later, Liverpool might have the perfect opportunity to try and sign Frimpong as they look to replace Alexander-Arnold, if they are actually interested, of course
