Liverpool could have just been given a helping hand as they continue to be linked with a signing during the summer transfer window.

With a month to go until the Reds are able to go into the transfer market for reinforcements, Liverpool are already being linked with several potential new signings.

One position that could be an area of interest this summer is right-back, given Trent Alexander-Arnold is set to leave the club at the end of the season.

One player who has been linked with a move to Liverpool is Jeremie Frimpong.

The Bayer Leverkusen star has been heavily linked with a transfer away from the Bundesliga outfit, with Anfield mentioned as a potential destination.

Leverkusen already know they will have to cope with at least one major departure this summer.

Whether that will happen, though, remains pure speculation at this point.

Arne Slot has used Jarell Quansah at right-back this season when Alexander-Arnold and Bradley have been unavailable.

Joe Gomez has also proven himself to be an option in the role in the past, and only time will tell if Slot will want that to continue for the long term.
