18-year-old Liverpool star Tyler Morton will be named in Jurgen Klopp’s side to face Porto this evening.

Morton has been training with Liverpool and has clearly impressed the boss to the extent that he will now make his Champions League debut against Porto.

The Daily Mail reports that after making his Premier League debut against Arsenal on Saturday and it is expected he will get some minutes against Porto.” Naturally, Liverpool fans are delighted to see another young talent get the chance to impress and potentially create memories ahead of a bright career.

While the game is labelled as ‘dead rubber’ with nothing riding on the game aside from bragging rights, Morton will certainly be keen to mark his debut in the historic tournament with a win.

The academy star, who shone in pre-season against the likes of Mains, Hertha Berlin and Athletic Bilbao, will be given his first taste of what playing under the lights at Anfield is like.

If Morton has even half the ability Trent has and is able to showcase it each time he gets a chance, he could become a fantastic player for Liverpool.

Hopefully, he makes the most of what should be a cracking atmosphere at Anfield.
