That is, even though both Ekitike and Isak play their best football when used as a number nine.
One of the main questions being asked about Liverpool’s pursuit of Isak is how Slot is going to fit all of his players into his starting XI.
This is a worry shared by former Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy, who, while live on talkSPORT, shared his thoughts on the integration of Isak being a major concern.
“I think he [Isak] gives them a hell of a chance [of winning the Premier League title, you can never say never” Murphy said.

“The only thing when you bring new players to a big football club, irrelevant of the talent is how quickly they settle.
“How quickly, they forge partnerships, relationships, how they deal with the pressure of playing for a club that’s expected to win every game every week.
“You can’t guarantee that when you sign five or six that they’re all going to do that.”
Seeing as though a massive overhaul has already taken place at Liverpool, Slot needs the entirety of his squad to start gelling as soon as possible.
