Gary Pallister believes the Premier League title race will be contested between Liverpool and Manchester City next season once again, but thinks his former Manchester united side can compete for a spot in the Champions League.

"You would be a fool to not back them [City and Liverpool] to be challenging for the title next season,’ Pallister told Metro.co.uk on behalf of Bookies Bonuses.
United finished in sixth in the Premier League last season - 13 points behind Tottenham Hotspur in fourth place.

Despite the addition of Erik ten Hag as new United manager, Pallister believes the gap will remain between his old team and the Premier League's top two next season.
The gap between City and United last season was a massive 35 points.
Liverpool and City have both added Darwin Nunez and Erling Haaland to their already formidable attacks.
