AC Milan chief says club had agreement with Dominik Szoboszlai

Dominik Szoboszlai joined Liverpool from RB Leipzig in the summer of 2023. Former AC Milan director Zvonimir Boban has revealed the club once had a deal in place to sign Szoboszlai.



During that period, Milan were close to signing Szoboszlai shortly after his move to RB Salzburg, when he had a release clause of just over €20m. “He’s a great player, I’m happy he won the war with himself and became a real player.” Boban added: “Szoboszlai started out as a Number 10, in Salzburg and for Hungary, playing behind the striker.
