Liverpool have now lost back-to-back games after falling to a 1-0 defeat away to Galatasaray. The Reds have been saved many times this season with last-gasp winners, but with none in their last two games, they have suffered defeats. This time it came in the Champions League against Galatasaray, with the overall performance being very sub-par yet again.Arne Slot will be slightly concerned as it does not appear to be clicking just yet, and with Chelsea up next, things do not get any easier. But after watching them on Tuesday night, Alan Shearer believes there is one thing that has worried him a lot, so it will only mean the same for the Liverpool boss.Photo by OZAN KOSE/AFP via Getty ImagesLiverpool created nothing vs GalatasarayLiverpool are synonymous with their free-flowing, attacking football, with it very rare that they fail to find the back of the net in a game. However, Galatasaray became one of the only teams to stop them from doing this, with the Reds creating nothing in the final third. This is something Shearer referenced and due to just how poor they were in attack, he thinks this is an area of concern.“The worrying thing is that they haven’t even looked like scoring tonight. They upped the tempo but still, they haven’t worked the goalkeeper at all tonight,” he said on Amazon Prime following the game.Liverpool dominated the possession throughout the game but it was much more even than the statistics made out, although just four shots on target will concern Slot massively.
