"I think in the last four or five months is when teams show what they can do.
That's what we want."We know how important it is to qualify for the Champions League for the club or for us as a team."The goal is there and we are going to do everything to qualify and be closer to the teams on top."Having not scored in the Premier League since that win over Tottenham, Mac Allister now has two in as many games when he followed his winner at Nottingham Forest last weekend with a thunderous volley for Liverpool's third against West Ham."I always say that I really like getting in the box and scoring goals," he said. "Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't."But in the last few games I was able to score some goals, so (I'm) happy because I can help the team and at the same time I can gain some confidence."Speaking to BBC Sport, Mac Allister admitted Liverpool's performance against West Ham wasn't perfect but results are now imperative approaching the business end of the campaign."We know that we need to improve a couple of things, especially defensively because sometimes the gaps are too big for us, but it is what it is," said the Argentina international."The good thing is that we won.
We are happy with the result and we need to keep improving."FOLLOW OUR LIVERPOOL FC FACEBOOK PAGE!
