He has, however, featured in four of the eight Champions League matches to date, one of which was as a substitute for the injured Alisson in the 1-0 defeat away to Galatasaray in September. The Georgia international has kept two clean sheets in his 10 starts, in back-to-back appearances against Real Madrid and Aston Villa in November when Alisson was still sidelined with a hamstring problem.
