Liverpool fans believe Florian Wirtz has potentially confirmed his intentions to join the club in a viral video on social media.
Wirtz was asked a question regarding the Reds by a journalist following Germany's 2-1 loss to Portugal in the Nations League.

Bayer Leverkusen have rejected two bids from Liverpool for their star, with the most recent offer of £109million turned down.
And as he walked past, he asked him: "Excited for Liverpool, Florian?"
Wirtz turned to face the reporter and slightly nodded his head, appearing to respond to the question.
There is no proof that the German was directly responding to the Liverpool question, but Reds fans are sure of it.

"Nice little Nod there.
Give him the contract immediately."
However, not all Liverpool fans believe Wirtz's reaction in the video is actually to do with the question.

The German gave Reds fans a teaser of what's to come, even though his scintillating game could not save his side from defeat.
He showed off all his intelligence for his goal as he drifted across the face of goal from the left and laid the ball off to Joshua Kimmich.
Wirtz then slowed his run before he suddenly darting into the box unmarked to head home Kimmich's lofted pass over the top of Portugal's back line.
Although a VAR check ensued, it would not rob Wirtz of an exquisite sequence of events.
Wirtz also had Liverpool fans drooling in the first half when he cut in from the left and floated an inch-perfect ball over Portugal's defence all the way to Kimmich who had arrived at the back post.
Unfortunately for Germany, Kimmich could not get enough power to knock the ball back to Leon Goretzka, who was unmarked in the box, to take a quick strike at goal.

Although Reds supporters will have tuned in to the Nations League semi-final clash, they can't call Wirtz theirs just yet.
But after his post-match nod, hopes have certainly been increased.
