Liverpool hold an interest in Bournemouth‘s in-form winger Antoine Semenyo, and the Premier League champions will now know what it would take to sign him. Bournemouth will ask for upwards of £75 million for Semenyo and there is no guarantee they will allow their leading source of goals to leave in January.

That is according to the Mail‘s Lewis Steele, following up reports of Liverpool’s interest from The i Paper‘s Mark Douglas. It is explained that Liverpool had also considered a move for Semenyo in the window just gone, but kept faith in Rio Ngumoha as a genuine first-team option.

Neither Ngumoha or Federico Chiesa have started in the Premier League or Champions League and Salah’s stuttering form – paired with his upcoming departure to the Africa Cup of Nations – could prompt a rethink. Andoni Iraola’s side are currently fourth in the Premier League, level on points with the champions, with Semenyo scoring six goals and laying on three assists in eight games.
