Arne Slot's players didn't even register a shot on target until around the 35th minute, when Dominik Szoboszlai — who debuted his bold new haircut at Molineux — unleashed a tame effort at Wolves goalkeeper Jose Sa.Warnock covered Tuesday's game at Molineux for BBC Radio 5 Live.

"The press is good from Wolves," the former Liverpool defender said midway through the first half."When it goes into those midfield areas, they're pressing the Liverpool players really tight and not letting them get their heads up."The ball has to be moved quicker from a Liverpool point of view, it's too easy for Wolves at the moment."And Warnock's criticism didn't stop there. He soon added: "We've had a really organized Wolves team and Liverpool team who don't seem capable of breaking them down at this moment in time."The retired left-back continued: "Liverpool are the better team on paper, but they're not showing that will and desire to try and get into those top places."Tonight is a great opportunity to put a marker down and put pressure on those other teams, but they're not showing it."Warnock then sent a clear message to Slot about his comments the other day, in which he criticized modern soccer's reliance on set pieces."It's safe, isn't it?" Warnock asked.

"Everything is safe at the moment from Liverpool's point of view. And his team aren't entertaining tonight, that's for sure."More to follow...Choose Liverpool.com as a 'Preferred Source' on Google News for quick access to the news you value.Liverpool FCWolverhampton Wanderers FCArne Slot
