Things had looked to be heating up in the transfer market for Liverpool last week, after a flurry of reports that the Reds were hoping to sign both Ibrahim Mbaye and Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain.However, while negotiations continue – and seem to remain fairly slow-moving – for Barcola, the links to Mbaye have gone completely quiet.Finally, journalist Fabrizio Romano has provided an update following PSG’s Super Cup win on Wednesday, reporting that while Liverpool are targeting another winger and have the 18-year-old on their shortlist, they currently deem his asking price to be too high.
