Liverpool head coach Arne Slot has confirmed that Alisson Becker is set for a spell on the sidelines after he limped off against Galatasaray midweek. "I would be surprised if Alisson was there for the first game after the international break," Slot added.

"We knew we were bringing in a very good goalkeeper," Slot said. "When he plays his first game it's the best way of seeing if he's adjusted well or not.
