Arne Slot was seen celebrating in Ibiza earlier this year on one of his family’s many trips to the island – but the Liverpool head coach insists he rarely parties while on holiday. While Slot is generally seen as a more reserved character than his predecessor, he was seen partying in Ibiza after Liverpool won the Premier League title in the spring.
“If the sun shines and I can be with my family, then it’s my kind of place,” Slot said. “The nice part of Ibiza is that it’s known for partying and it didn’t help me that I was on camera when I was at a party.
Normally, people don’t see me partying, they would see me in a restaurant or at my house or at the beach. The 47-year-old clearly had no issues being seen partying after the title was secured, but his trips to Ibiza are more motivated by rest and family time.
