Liverpool look set to undergo another summer of change in 2026, with Arne Slot ready to put the finishing touches to his vision of the team.Slot oversaw a huge amount of churn last year, with the Reds arguably changing far too much to a team which had just won the Premier League. However, the transfers in and out were necessary to allow Slot to build his vision for Liverpool, and with news arriving that the Reds are set to hire Etienne Reijnen as his new assistant, the Dutchman will complete the transition in the coming months. FSG would be crazy to keep Arne Slot if Liverpool lose to Brentford… right?

That is going to be crucial in improving Liverpool’s fortunes. They are clearly all on the same page tactically, and being settled in this team of three should help Slot to finally put the stamp he wants on Liverpool.Summer of further change will cement squad make-upThroughout his two years at Liverpool so far, it has been almost impossible to know how Slot ideally wants the Reds to set up.His first year was simply tweaking the players left to him by Jurgen Klopp, while this year has been muddled, transitional and hit by injuries to key players, especially in attack. The incoming and outgoing deals last year hinted at what Slot might want, but it was impossible to do all the business Liverpool needed to in one summer.
