The likes of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Desire Doue are slightly better than both at the moment, but that is exactly why Barcola seems to be attainable.There has been a narrative in some quarters, though, that Barcola is not worth bothering with.

His argument, posted on social media on Wednesday, was essentially that Liverpool already has several players — Wirtz, Cody Gakpo, Rio Ngumoha and Victor Munoz — who operate off the left, but none to play off the right.Barcola, primarily, has played on the left more often throughout his career.
