Liverpool are still searching for Mohamed Salah’s replacement but they appear to have been handed encouragement in their interest in PSG and France forward Bradley BarcolaLiverpool are readying their opening offer for Bradley Barcola with the winger open to a move to Anfield - but PSG are remaining firm over their asking price. As a result, he is now prepared for the next stage of his career in the Premier League.Anfield officials have reportedly already held talks with the wideman’s representatives and it is said that the response has been favourable.

The French club were previously keen to bank around £145m should they approve a move - having used Morgan Rogers’ £117m switch to Chelsea as a guide. As it stands Liverpool are ready to lodge an opening offer in the region of around £110m but with PSG wanting considerably more than that, it remains to be seen if Anfield chiefs would be willing to break the British transfer record to sign him.Should talks progress positively, Barcola will then be offered at least a five-year deal to move to Anfield.Barcola has been with PSG since a 2023 switch from French rivals Lyon. Jeremy Jacquet agreed a move back in January from French side Rennes, while Victor Munoz was recruited from Osasuna earlier this summer.Asked if he had a number in his mind of how many players he would want to sign last week, boss Iraola replied: “No, I think it’s difficult to say a number when the market is open, and you have to be always open to new options to improve the squad.“There are obvious situations that we know where we need to sign players.

A winger, for example – we definitely need to sign a winger.“But there are other situations that we will have to analyse what the market gives you, what’s the cost, how we also see the players we have. We have some tricky positions where we have injured players that we trust but is still not the ideal situation.
