(Credit Imago)Brighton make Yankuba Minteh transfer plan after Liverpool newsFormer Man United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider on 6 November that Liverpool are plotting a move for Minteh, who could be worth as much as £100million.However, as I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, Brighton have no intention of selling the 21-year-old any time soon, while he remains happy at the Amex and is on a long-term contract there.
MORE FOOTBALL INSIDER STORIES Despite suggestions of a £100million price tag on the winger, Brighton are likely to demand £60-70million to entertain offers for him should that interest grow.Speaking on the Inside Track podcast, I explained: “I think it would be very hard to get him out of Brighton at the moment, in all honestly.“He’s been a big player for Brighton since Newcastle were forced to sell him because of PSR rules, and Brighton have found themselves a very good player.“He’s on a long-term contract there until 2029, and we know what Brighton are like. “They spent 30 million on Minteh last summer.
They’re probably looking around 60 to 70 million pounds.
