SportFootballBukayo SakaEngland star Bukayo Saka has provided a clear verdict on FIFA's Jarell Quansah ban decision that has left Thomas Tuchel furiousBukayo Saka has revealed it is "incredibly frustrating" for England that Jarell Quansah will serve a two-match ban. The defender was sent off in the last-16 win over Mexico with FIFA confirming that he will be suspended for two World Cup games.Speaking to reporters at England's Kansas City training base, he said: "Yeah, I just found out that it's a two match ban which is incredibly frustrating for him and us.

But yeah it is what it is, we're not here to complain we'll just have to adapt and pick a team that can beat Norway."The decision of FIFA's disciplinary committee to impose a two-game ban is said to have left Thomas Tuchel furious with the England boss particularly annoyed that referee Alireza Faghan was shown a still image of Quansah's studs on Jesus Gallardo upon his arrival to the VAR pitch side monitor.A Sky Sports report has also claimed that Tuchel immediately requested the FA lodge their annoyance at the decision to FIFA.England are unable to appeal the outcome from the panel which means Quansah will be unavailable to face Norway in the quarter-finals. He will also miss a potential semi-final against Switzerland or Argentina. If the Three Lions get beyond Erling Haaland's side, Quansah could be joined by all of Jude Bellingham, Declan Rice, Marc Guehi and Nico O'Reilly in being banned. That quartet are all one yellow card away from serving a one-match suspension having all picked up cautions in the knockout stage.

Yellow cards will be wiped after the quarter-finals with a dismissal the only way players could miss the final through being suspended. There will be more to follow on this breaking news story and Mirror Sport will bring you the very latest updates, pictures and video as soon as possible. Please check back regularly for updates on this developing story.Follow us on Google News, Flipboard, Apple News, Twitter, Facebook or visit The Mirror homepage.Choose Daily Mirror as a 'Preferred Source' on Google News for quick access to the news you value.Thomas TuchelBukayo SakaEngland football teamWorld Cup 2026
