The west London giants have had a dreadful Premier League campaign, picking up just 49 points from 36 matches.

The Blues have recently appointed Alonso as their new manager from the summer, and there could be some big changes. Chelsea could be active on either side of the World Cup.

The incoming spending spree is also expected to coincide with several exits. Tosin Adarabioyo, Benoit Badiashile and Axel Disasi are among centre-backs, who could be told to pursue new clubs this summer.
