Use the comment button on the bottom left to have your say Slot’s comments about Salah after Liverpool’s win against Inter Milan suggests that there is a route back into the team for the Egyptian, although he has some work to put in first.Firstly, Salah has to drop his ego and apologise to his manager, something that is hard to see given everything he has achieved for the club and how strongly he feels about the situation.The second reason why it is hard to see him get back into the side is due to the new system Slot deployed, with it working to good effect.They played without wingers and were much more narrow, something that does not suit Salah at all unless he plays as a striker.That would mean dropping one of Hugo Ekitike or Alexander Isak, though, and with these two the future of the club, where Salah fits in is as good a guess as any.
