He has been linked with Real Madrid this year, and with Liverpool being touted to sign a new midfielder this summer, his place in the Reds’ side is not as assured as it was 12 months ago.Szoboszlai inadvertently added to the speculation over his teammate’s future when speaking to reporters last week, having said “if Alexis comes back” when discussing Mac Allister during a press conference while on tour with Liverpool in the US.Having been made aware of his slip-up, Szoboszlai sought to clear things up as he spoke to reporters again at the weekend following the Reds’ defeat to Leeds.“That was just my English, guys.
