But he was a lot younger when he first got the call-up to the national side, with the left-back just 19 when he made his debut.Coming up from the Under 21s would have been a daunting experience for anyone, but Szoboszlai has admitted that Kerkez did not show any nerves whatsoever.“So he was in the under 21s I remember and then they sent him up and then everybody was like ‘oh, again a young guy,” he said on Liverpool’s YouTube channel.“But it was like he’d been there for a couple of years.
