MORE FOOTBALL INSIDER STORIES They are sitting 21st in the Championship and are in real danger of being relegated from the second tier this season, but Dyche will not be the man to arrive at the Hawthorns and save them.Speaking on the Transfer Insider podcast, I explained: “I would be surprised if Sean Dyche would consider dropping down to the Championship right now.
He probably still sees himself as a Premier League manager. I still feel he was harshly dealt with there, he probably had more than enough to keep them up.
I think Dyche probably will now have a rest and a break from football and wait to see what opportunities come up in the summer. “Obviously the West Brom job is a really difficult job right now as well, they’re in a real relegation fight to try and salvage the season.“(They) really don’t want to be ending up in League One, which would be a huge blow to the club if that was to happen.”Read more: West Brom next manager: Darren Moore now odds-on favourite amid surprise Wayne Rooney update Who are the favourites to be West Brom’s next permanent boss?Baggies legend James Morrison has been placed in temporary charge for now as the hierachy assess their options, and he is currently the favourite to land the job full-time, at odds of 5/6 with a top UK bookmaker.Another club hero in Darren Moore is also priced at the same odds, amid rumours that he could make a return to the Hawthorns alongside Morrison.Dyche comes in next at 10/1, while yet another familiar face, former promotion-winning boss Slaven Bilic, is alongside him at the same odds.Other candidates include Will Still (14/1), Carlos Corberan and Tony Mowbray (16/1), as well as Wayne Rooney (20/1).
