Again, these were cameo appearances, and he needed less than 20 minutes to score against both Kristiansund and Tromso.That makes it nine goals in six games for Kone-Doherty, and is absolute vindication of his decision to leave Liverpool and go down a different route in Scandinavia. With their wing positions now fairly stacked, it is unlikely that Liverpool will be looking to bring Kone-Doherty back to Anfield any time soon, but it would not be a surprise to see him back in the spotlight in England in the near future.In the meantime, it is well worth keeping an eye on his progress as he blitzes the Norwegian top division.
