Rather than simply handing it over to a panel of pundits or statisticians, the league opens it up to fans, who can celebrate the players they feel have truly defined the season in each position.Supporters can now head to the official Premier League website to cast their votes and back the Liverpool players they feel deserve a place in the final Fan Team of the Season.The vote is open until 18:00 BST on 29 May, giving fans just over a week to get their selections in.Once the polls close and the numbers are counted, the Premier League will reveal the final XI, based on fan votes, on 30 May – and Liverpool will be hoping to see their nominated quartet well represented when the team is announced.
