Ibrahima Konate & Cody Gakpo’s struggles continue – neither manage 5/10 rating

As has been the case all season, far too many Liverpool players flopped in the 3-3 draw away to Leeds, especially the hapless Ibrahima Konate. Here we compare our player ratings with those of the Liverpool Echo, GOAL and the TIA readers.

It feels as though Konate (3.90) has been Liverpool’s poorest performer so many times this season and it was the same again at Elland Road. The frustrating Cody Gakpo (4.93) didn’t fare much better for Liverpool, with the Dutchman’s end product again sorely lacking.

Dominik Szoboszlai (7.55) was also good once more, as he continues to stand out as easily Liverpool’s best player this season. What the stats say FotMob also selected Ekitike (8.9) as the leading figure for Liverpool, no doubt helped by his brace of goals.
