Arne Slot has provided the update everyone was waiting for around Liverpool’s injuries, and it is not encouraging news for four players ahead of Saturday’s trip to Brentford. The right-back picked up a worrying hamstring injury in Wednesday’s 5-1 victory at Eintracht Frankfurt and Slot told reporters on Friday that he is “not in a good place.” Meanwhile Alexander Isak and Ryan Gravenberch are both doubts for the weekend with new groin and ankle issues respectively.
