Although reports suggesting that an agreement is already in place between Barcola and Liverpool have been played down, there is plenty of reason to believe that a deal could get done.Barcola himself has decided against signing a new contract with PSG, and the European champions are already well in the process of adding more attacking options to Luis Enrique’s side.Still, it will take some negotiating from Liverpool to get a deal done, with the two sides some distance apart in their respective valuations - not to mention Arsenal is lurking as a deal for Vinicius Jr looks increasingly unlikely.It would be a coup for the Reds if they were to land Barcola - but two of the club’s biggest names of the past aren’t all that convinced he’s the right man to sign.Liverpool is of course still looking for a replacement for Mohamed Salah on the right wing, but Barcola is primarily a left-winger.
