Borussia Dortmund midfielder, Jude Bellingham, has become ‘hesitant’ over a potential move to Liverpool over recent weeks due to the poor performances of the team. Berger claims that Liverpool are ‘in pole position’ to sign the 19-year-old, but he is hesitating due to the club’s current situation, which sees them sat in 10th place in the Premier League with just one win in their last seven games.

He also claimed that if Liverpool were in and around the top four spots, then Bellingham’s decision might have already been made and a deal could’ve been made between the two clubs. You can read Patrik Berger's (Sport1) podcast comments on Jude Bellingham here.
