It will also support BVB Foundation, which plays a vital role in Dortmund and the Ruhr region, supporting numerous social initiatives and projects.Money raised from the game will also help fund LFC Foundation's employability programmes, which support people in the community to find work, gain qualifications and learn new skills through mentoring and training courses.
It will also play a key role in delivering LFC Foundation's ambitious strategy of helping 500,000 people a season by 2030.Nine previous legends matches at Anfield have raised more than £9 million of vital funds, benefiting people across the Liverpool City Region and internationally. During the 2024-25 season, LFC Foundation supported more than 145,000 people through health, learning and employability programmes, its highest number to date.
