In December, Dewsbury-Hall claimed that there are probably more Everton fans in Liverpool than there are fans of the Reds.The Everton midfielder’s comments went down extremely well with one side of Merseyside, and predictably, not so well with the other.
Dewsbury-Hall has made a special connection with the Everton fans already, and is even pointing jabs at Liverpool like a true Toffee.Speaking to Toffee TV in December, the Englishman said: “I’ve had a couple of walks around Liverpool and there’s so many fans. I feel like there’s way more Everton fans in Liverpool.”Those comments, obviously, went down poorly with fans of the Reds, but he backed up his comments in a new social media post on Saturday.
