Lewis Koumas is the son of former Wales international Jason Koumas and decided to follow in his footsteps.Lewis chose to play for Wales through his father but was also eligible to play for England through birth and Cyprus through his grandfather. The youngster has posted on Instagram to update his followers on a special personal milestone as he reaches 100 senior career appearances. The post reads: “Really proud and grateful to hit this sort of milestone in my career already, the memories and achievements so far have been priceless. Thank you to everyone who’s been involved with me.”Lewis Koumas signed a long-term deal at Liverpool before heading out on loan in 2024 to Stoke City. This shows Liverpool’s willingness to oversee his development whilst keeping him on their books if they ever decide to integrate him into the first team set-up.
