Liverpool are thought to be one of the clubs interested in completing the signing of Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara at the end of the season. Now, speaking to Football Insider, journalist Pete O’Rourke has claimed that Monaco midfielder Camara is an option for the Merseysiders: “He has been linked with a few clubs.

He’s had another good season for Monaco and will go to the World Cup with Senegal.(Camara is a) very highly regarded player. He has been talked about for a long time as potentially moving to England, because he has the attributes to be a success in the Premier League.

“He’s physical, he can cover the ground, he’s got bit of defensive bite as well and obviously his athletic coverage does pique the interest of a number of English clubs. The £56m-rated Camara has reportedly been scouted by Liverpool recently, and he looks like a fantastic alternative option to Wharton, or a potential addition alongside the Palace and England star.
