Liverpool assessing Jayden Danns hamstring injury

Jayden Danns will not be involved in either of Liverpool’s clashes with Galatasaray in the Champions League or UEFA Youth League due to a hamstring injury. Danns was an unused substitute in the opening Champions League win over Atletico Madrid before coming off the bench against Southampton in the Carabao Cup.



But the 19-year-old – who missed much of pre-season as he recovered from a long-term back injury – is now sidelined with a hamstring complaint. He is currently being assessed but the immediate verdict is that Danns cannot be involved in this week’s European clashes with Galatasaray.
