The Amazon founder, the fourth-richest man in the world with a net worth of over £190bn, is said to be considering the prospect.Asked for an update on the situation, Hogan told Bloomberg: "I can only refer back to the statement from FSG last week that we have been approached by a consortium that's led, managed and represented by Amit Bhatia for a strategic minority investment in the club. Neither has materialised thus far and the Amazon billionaire's investment would be much smaller if he did become involved with Liverpool.Liverpool have won the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup since FSG's arrival 16 years ago, but are entering a period of flux.
Andoni Iraola has arrived to replace Arne Slot following a disappointing 2025/26 season, while Michael Edwards left his role as FSG's chief executive of football earlier this month.Edwards joined Liverpool in 2011 and was promoted to sporting director in 2016 before leaving in the summer of 2022.
