Liverpool have confirmed Jeremy Jacquet’s shirt number after his summer arrival. Jacquet completed a move to Anfield at the start of this month as his £60 million move from Rennes agreed in the January transfer window was officially ratified.

Jacquet admitted that working alongside Ibrahima Konate was a key motivation in his decision to move to Merseyside but will now take the defender’s squad number.
