Liverpool have confirmed Alejandro Rosalen as their new goalkeeping coach. Rosalen becomes the latest addition to Andoni Iraola’s backroom staff following the departure of Xavi Valero, who left just 12 months into his second spell at Anfield.

The 49-year-old most recently ended a five-season stint with Napoli during which he was part of their two Serie A title-winning teams; the club’s first since 1990. His previous role was also in the Italian top flight with Fiorentina, where he spent eight years and worked under five managers at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
