It came in a season in which the Reds needed him to take the step up, after they sold Luis Diaz to Bayern Munich and chose not to replace him.By the end of the season, fans were hoping to see more of Rio Ngumoha on the left wing ahead of Gakpo - which led to the Dutchman's future in question.
