That doesn’t mean to say Liverpool will shut up shop, with a pursuit for Bournemouth’s Scott also ongoing.Iraola was crucial to the Englishman establishing himself as one of the league’s brightest talents, and Scott would be a welcome addition to the Liverpool squad. But, much like the Barcola transfer, Liverpool aren’t showing any willingness to match Bournemouth’s asking price, which is said to be around £80m.Time is running out for the 2024/25 Premier League champions, as they have just one pre-season friendly left before the season opener away to Newcastle.
