Liverpool fan groups are set to protest against the club’s recent ticket price rises. A coalition of supporter groups have now confirmed that they will take direct action against the plans beginning with Saturday’s Premier League encounter with Fulham.

Fan groups Spirit of Shankly, Spion Kop 1906, the Liverpool FC Supporters’ Board, LFC Women’s Supporters’ Club and cultuRED have all signed the pledge to protest. “The Supporters’ Board has formally informed the club that action is coming.

“Action will take place acros shome and away fixtures, starting with Fulham and escalating from there.” It added: “Let’s be clear: This is Liverpool’s owners locking in prices rises for years and removing annual scrutiny from fans. Not just for Liverpool, but across the game.”
