Well, whether supporters like it or not, that is exactly what has happened and there is no going back now, with Salahâs comments about Slot making it feel like something significant is about to happen. There is a good chance the Egyptian now leaves, that Slot is now sacked or perhaps even both, with the whole situation just far from pretty.Liverpool supporters have, of course, had their say online and will continue to do so, but it is safe to say they are on one personâs side more than the other.Liverpool fans seem to be on Mohamed Salahâs side of the argumentIt is a hard position to be in as even though Salah was probably wrong for calling Slot out so publicly, he clearly feels passionately that a change is needed, and fans might do as well.Photo by Molly Darlington/Getty ImagesBased on how they have reacted to their beef, it suggests most are on the Egyptianâs side, with Slot looking like he could be about to lose the battle. One supporter wrote: âWe stand with Mohammed Salah.
By the looks of it, the players have lost full faith in the management team.âAnother simply added: âI stand by Mohamed Salah over Arne Slot,â while a third wrote: âSalah then, Salah now, Salah forever.âREAD MORE: Jamie Carragher has done something that âagitatesâ a number of Liverpool stars, and Mohamed Salah has proven just thatA fourth supporter also stands by the Egyptian, saying: âIâll sacrifice the manager before I ever sacrifice Mo Salah, not arsed what anyone else thinks.âHowever, that does not mean there are not a few siding with Slot even if they are the minority, with one fan saying: âHeâs self-centred, thatâs what he is. Since when is a player bigger than the club?â with a seventh adding: âItâs Liverpool FC not Mo Salah FC.âBut, a final supporter made it clear who he thinks is in the right, saying: âIf itâs Mo vs Arne, Iâm siding with Mo every day of the week and twice on Sunday.â Whose side are you on, Salah or Slot?
I donât know why it always happens to me. âWe throw Mo under the bus, because heâs the problem.â I donât think Iâm the problem.âMohamed Salah on Arne SlotPhoto by Richard Martin-Roberts â CameraSport via Getty Images đ Join the debate; share your insight.
